The INTOSAI Working Group on SDGs and Key Sustainable Development Indicators (WGSDG KSDI) presents an Arabic version of one of its key products – Practical Guidance on SDG Audit at the Regional Level.

The Document aims to assist SAIs and regional audit institutes in assessing local sustainable development indicators, identifying systemic risks, and drawing the attention of regional executives to these issues.

The Guidance provides a description of each step of the SDG audit process, as well as a list of fundamental concepts, approaches, and principles.

The proposed recommendations are designed to provide practical assistance to the audit teams and assess the achievement of SDGs and identify systemic risks in the area of safe and sustainable development, while also drawing the attention of regional executive bodies of government to these issues.

The WGSDG KSDI Secretariat expresses its gratitude to the SAIs of Egypt and Morocco for their translation and proofreading of the Arabian version of the Guidance.
