On June 24, 2026, the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation took part in the BRICS SAIs online experience-sharing seminar on "Enhancing Integrity and Transparency in the Public sector as a Tool to Сombat Corruption". The seminar was hosted by the Accountability State Authority of the Arab Republic of Egypt, which pays special attention to this topic as the Chair of the INTOSAI Working Group on the Fight Against Corruption and Money Laundering.

Mr. Aleksei Granovskiy, Director of the Department of Public Administration Audit at the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation, presented Russian experience at the seminar. The speaker outlined regulatory framework for anti-corruption measures in the Russian Federation and highlighted SAI Russia’s activities dealing with promoting integrity. Mr. Granovskiy paid special attention to the digital tools being developed by SAI Russia and shared insights gained from analyzing the implementation of anti-corruption measures during budget execution audit.

Representatives of SAIs Egypt, India, Indonesia and South Africa also made presentations during the event.

Seminar participants emphasized particular importance of SAIs’ work to ensure integrity in the public sector and combat corruption, and reaffirmed their interest in the continued exchange of experience within the BRICS framework.
