4 March 2021 - The international knowledge-sharing seminar "Healthcare Audit in the Context of COVID-19 Pandemic"
On March 4, from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. (Moscow time), the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation holds a multilateral knowledge-sharing seminar "Healthcare Audit in the Context of COVID-19 Pandemic" in the videoconference format.
The Supreme Audit Institutions of Cyprus, Finland, France, Hungary, Russia, the USA, as well as the Regional Audit Institutions of the Russian Federation will take part in the seminar. The Russian Federation will be represented by the Deputy Chairperson of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation Ms. Galina Izotova.
The main themes of the seminar:
- auditing the preparedness of public health systems for emergencies;
- government response to the pandemic (effectiveness of solving the shortage of medical personnel, equipment, PPE, medicines);
- public procurement in the field of healthcare during the COVID-19 pandemic. The parties will also discuss issues of exchange of experience in the field of healthcare audit in the SAI community.
The multilateral seminar will be one of the stages in the preparation of the INTOSAI International Scientific and Practical Conference (April 21–22, 2021). The results of the discussions will be examined by the participants of the strategic session “Audit in the field of health and social services: new tools for the INTOSAI community” at the Conference.
